Buddhism, Elton, and Images

I’ve been thinking about eastern religions / philosophies lately … and not really knowing that much, having been raised in a fundamental christian faith, I’ve been searching for some good books as a starting point to learning more about Buddhism . I’ll probably go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and get something … I’ve searched online and saw a book entitled “Art of Happiness” that is available in an audio cd format that I could listen to in the car - woo hoo!Picked up Elton John’s latest - songs from the west coast - and it’s ok … maybe I’ll be able to give a better review after a few more listenings … I did instantly like the song - American Triangle - which is about Matthew Sheperd, and has a nice dramatic chorus and overall melody. Reading the liner notes, I see that Rufus Wainwright sang harmony vocals on it.Added a couple more photo galleries yesterday and a couple more today.Might get a new cam this weekend or maybe for my birthday [wink, wink, nudge, nudge] - just haven’t been pleased with the old usb webcam, and the new digital camcorder requires just way too much light to produce an acceptable image, it’s like needing stage lighting to not be cast in dark shadows.
