I changed my hosting provider over the weekend, and in the process, upgraded my Movabletype installation, and decided to use a different guestbook.
All in all the move was pretty painless, and a side benefit is that the new utilities are awesome, and one of my favorite OSX applications (kung-log now called ecto) works again!

States ought to be able to have the right to pass laws that enable people to be able to have rights like others.
Bush is quoted as saying in an interview aired Tuesday on ABC.
This flip-flop by Dubya, a week before the Presidential Election, has caused a backlash in his Radical Conservatative base. Randy Thomasson, the [...]

Wow!! The FIRST time The New Yorker has endorsed a candidate for President in it’s 80-year history. It’s long, but makes the case so succinctly that I highly recommend taking the time to read it in it’s entirety.

It was brisk this morning, my nipples are sore, Charlie’s hands froze waiting for me to finish the race … but he was able to get some action shots ;) Thanks again for supporting me and enduring the elements this morning Honey!!
Unfortunately, the battery in his camera wasn’t fully charged, but he was able to [...]

“The Bush/Cheney Administration is a rarity in American history, it is simultaneously dishonest, and incompetent.” - Al Gore Oct. 19, 2004
Like a church sermon, Al tells it like it is, wake up my fellow Americans, regime change begins Nov. 2nd.
You can watch the streaming archive of the speech at C-SPAN.ORG here in RealPlayer format.

So Lynne Cheney is all upset and in a huff, because she’s got a lesbian daughter, and people know she’s got a lesbian daughter and John Kerry had the nerve to remind people that Lynne Cheney’s daughter is a lesbian.
OMG! What will the ladies in the bridge club think?? Oh sweet merciful Jesus!
But wait a [...]

Speaking on the issue of Senator Kerry in last nights debate, mentioning the fact that Mary Cheney (the daughter of VP Dick Cheney) is a lesbian, and was born that way… Andrew Sullivan wrote
“I keep getting emails asserting that Kerry’s mentioning of Mary Cheney is somehow offensive or gratuitous or a “low blow”. Huh? Mary [...]

Support for Bush erodes, poll says - according to the USA Today / CNN / Gallup Poll.
Electoral-Vote has Kerry winning in the electoral college 280 to Bush getting 254 - and has this to say about the recent Zogby poll that shows Kerry leading 46% to 45% for Bush.
“Interestingly, Zogby also found that among newly [...]

Last night’s debate reminded me of my neighbor’s little Pug yapping away at a Great Dane, while the Dane just stood there and looked it while thinking “You’re kidding right?” ….
Bushie came out swinging, (yap yap yap) and nearly lost it when he bowled over Charlie Gibson’s rejoiner to reiterate his wrong thinking on the [...]

Ohio is going to be BLUE in 2004 - the state WILL vote to make John Kerry the 44th President of the United States of America, and John Edwards the Vice President.
John Edwards performed excellently tonight in the Vice Presidential debate against the same scare tactics that Dick Cheney uses on the campaign trail. Again [...]

An interesting observation here in the heartland … the day after the Kerry/Bush Debate, it seemed like all the W ‘04 bumperstickers, and Bush/Cheney bumperstickers disappeared on the roads around Columbus.
So I thought, well that’s kind of interesting, but it’s probably just a coincidence, right? Maybe them Bushies stayed up late watching the debate, and [...]

Quoting Andrew Sullivan (Openly Gay GOP Commentator) -
“My own view is that Bush’s critical problem is the last year in Iraq -
and his arrogant, Pollyannish response to it. What happened Thursday was that for
the first time, the public saw the president confronted with these issues directly
and saw that he had no real answer. Worse, they [...]
