More Dead from Ohio

Please contact your elected Senators and Representatives and urge them to demand a compentent leader for the war in Iraq.Here is the letter I sent to Ohio Senator DeWine tonight:

Honorable Senator DeWine;Two weeks ago, I wrote you to thank you for honoring the fallen Ohio soldiers on the floor of the Senate.Today, after the latest losses in Iraq, and the heavy price Ohio families are paying, I’m writing you to ask that you work to change course in the execution of the war in Iraq.This war is being executed in at least a paritally political manner, where wrong decisions are maintained, instead of course correction, in the guise of remaining steadfast.Please Senator, our brave Men and Women in the Armed Services deserve better. Their families deserve to have responsible leadership.It’s time for Donald Rumsfeld to be replaced, and a compentent leader to take over the execution of the war effort, in order to achieve success in the mission and work to limit future casualties.Even though I never supported this war, I know that we’re there, and it’s our mess now.Before the American public opionion swings to remove the troops completely, we must try to replace the leadership with someone willing to see the mistakes made, and face them head on. When the political leadership is more concerned with protecting their image than protecting those serving, these Men and Women need you to watch out for them.Sorrowfully, and respectfully,
