My rights are NOT up for popular vote

The argument against Gay Marriage often devolves to the argument by those wishing to legislate their own discrimination, that the people should have a vote on whether or not Gays should be allowed to marry. This argument is complete and utter bullshit. My rights, your rights, each and every American’s rights are not up to the majority to approve by popular vote. Were they so, every minority in the country would lose their rights to the whims of the majority. Call it Populistic Tyranny if you will.Enjoy this short film and hopefully you’ll see my point.
